Well Teri's body is not recovering fast enough for her to start her chemo as scheduled on Thursday. So tonight will be extra special focusing for her recovery. I'm not sure what to say or do at this particular point the two most important woman in my life are very ill. If anything being available to them and cheering them on is just about the only medicine I can think of. Oh course there's always a home cooked meal which I will get to immediately.
See you tonight in Teri time , same time same channel.

Okay Teri believers...we are on for Feb 12th.8PM
For all of you who love Teri and want her to beat cancer...or rather kick its "A_s" in her own words, please write your sentiments in the comment box so that someday Teri will have all that love to read and savor...especially if she needs strength.
She is unaware of how unwell our Mother is at this time. My Mom wants it that way...however she has been urinating blood for quite sometime and will be having surgery the end of February. My Moms worry for Teri and unselfish love is inspiring to me especially after what she has been through in her life. When it rains it pours was one of my grandma Rozen's favorite sayings...she couldn't have been more right. This Thursday Teri will begin Chemo again and my Mom who is now taking anxiety drugs to face what ever is up ahead for herself will be there with us. Love is powerful...intention... devotion, ...even the love of an ill mother "still" protecting her child from worry. What could be more inspiring than that. Join us...I believe. Please tell Teri what you are feeling and give our Mother peace.

Teri Time...a more personal note
In keeping with the wonderful support and love of Teri supporters I'd like to nominate Thursday evening at 8 PM as Teri Time. Until the day we can take a deep breath and know she is well and ready to sail another day...please let us join together and dream of the day cancer is eliminated from our vocabulary. The day she is finally free from it's grasp and never has to endure another horrible chemo treatment.
For those of you who don't know...our Mother developed breast cancer in her early 40's and then again nine years later in the other breast. She is still with us today 30 years later. It can happen for Teri too. The first day my Mother was diagnosed I wrote to the nuns in upstate CT and asked them to pray for her. I prayed through her surgeries and I have prayed for her ever since.
I believe our thoughts and intentions are tools and that we do not live in isolation.
I want Teri to live...live to be an old bubbly, crazy pain, in my butt. I want to hear her and Pete argue over sail trim till I'm deaf in one ear. I want to worry about how I'll cook a great meal that's limited to no flour, starch and no sugar. I want that challenge. I want her to nag me like a mother hen and tell me how to eat and what vitamins I should be taking. Every Christmas, Easter, Thanksgiving, and birthday I want her there. I want to be like the old sister in the movie "The Whales of August ". I want her there for my parents...who's hearts are breaking and her husband Pete who adores her and orbits her like the moon does the earth. I am selfish and I hope you are too. We want her here...
I'll see you in Teri Time Thursday February 5Th 2009, 8PM.

Intention Date set for Teri's next chemo treatment
Thank you .....thank you ...thank you....
Teri is scheduled to have another round of chemo on January 29th. Please join me once again in sending Teri our love, our best intentions and healing thoughts. Last night as I was meditating on my sister a huge involuntary grin spread across my face and I believe it was because we were connecting with her. When Te and I were young we used to have the same dream and wake up and talk about who was doing what in the dream. There are so many times in our childhood and beyond that we could read each others thoughts making it very difficult to hide anything from one another. I believe we are energy and that we are connected.
Please mark your calendars for January 29th at 8pm.

Intention Date Jan. 22 2009
This Thursday the 22nd of January I know Teri will be in the out patient facility to either get chemo or be turned away if her white blood count is too low. She needs our positive input now more than ever. She will either be getting the treatment or very upset if she can't have it.
For those of you who feel helpless please join me at 8PM on January 22nd 2009 and spend a few minutes sending Te your best intentions. Perhaps our combined intentions will help her, its worth a try. I believe love can travel any distance...
